Legacy Architecture

The solution is in the design

Our design process provides an outline of measured steps toward achieving success of our client-shared vision on every project. The building blocks of quality require a balance of both the design aesthetic with the technical merits of the architectural character.

Our business has been cultivated through our work with visionaries, idealists, and realists. The architectural expressions of our projects have been as diverse as our Clients. Our projects are varied in scale, scope, and budgets, ranging from new ground-up buildings, major building renovations or additions, tenant improvements for offices, medical offices, retail stores, and new homes, and existing homes requiring additions or pop-tops.

We listen to you. What you say really matters. Tell us about your amazing project and we will demonstrate our abilities to get you there.

Our design process is cooperative, transparent, and flexible. We offer extended design services during the construction phase of the project.

We offer customized design services packages which establish realistic expectations for schedules, budgets, and quality.

We advocate for the success of your project with building departments, aiming to optimize the use of your building.

Arch-Virtue 1: Harmony of Context

This Denver triplex represents Urban Living Modern Design, which responds to the design-transformation of the Highlands Area that was taking place during the early 2000’s era. It includes 7,000sf on 3 levels of living space with rooftop balconies and a detached garage for each unit.

Arch-Virtue 2: Space and Form Shape Architecture

Architecture is the visual language of shaping space through buildings and landscape. The historic 1924 Fort Collins High School main entrance colonnade served as a palette for architectural language for the new concert hall building addition.

Arch-Virtue 3: Purpose Enhances the Story

Architecture reveals its purpose through how it shapes activities within indoor and outdoor spaces. The site planning of Pizza dei Miracoli in Pisa inspired the connection of three memory care buildings via a secure, intimate outdoor courtyard.

Arch-Virtue 4: Natural Daylight Brings Life

Positioning a building for sun access brings variety, warmth, and vitality to the human experience. Creating a community gathering area connecting the worship space and children’s learning center strengthened personal bonds within the congregation.

Arch-Virtue 5: Meaning Adds Significance

Our journey through design requirements reveals its priorities and qualities. A new world-class airport terminal serves Wyoming and the Western U.S. Portions of the original building were repurposed, and additions connect exterior spaces to nearby buildings.
